about us

elipamanoke – also affectionately known as 'Eli' – is home to many different types of electronic underground music. On 2 floors, our guests can immerse themselves in the world of techno, house and their subgenres.

Founded in 2007 as a micro-club on Zschochersche Straße, the move to larger rooms in the west of Leipzig took place in 2009. Since then, Eli has developed into today's full-fledged club with international bookings but also intensive promotion of young talent. We want to preserve our essence as an experimental sound workshop and offer a stage for newcomers as well as new concepts and niche genres.

In addition to our own Eli events, we regularly host collectives, who organize their own events with us and provide weekly variety in clubbing and raving.

High-quality sound is a matter close to our hearts. Our main floor, the "eli floor", is equipped with 4 Danley Soundlabs tops and 6 basses. Smaller concerts also take place here occasionally.
Since September '24, the DJ booth is placed in the middle of the danceflooe, two DJs can play "face2face" while platforms give the audience the best view while dancing. The concept is unique in Leipzig and offers a club experience that you simply have to experience for yourself.

Our basement floor, the "xxs Kronik" has a unique lighting concept and the DJ booth placed in the middle of the room channels the energy of a club night in a very unique way between artists and crowd. 6 tops and 8 basses ensure a 360° sound experience.

awareness

Awarness - Rettungsring

The elipamanoke wants to be a welcoming space for all people, regardless of gender, sexuality, origin, skin colour, (non)-visible disabilities, physical appearance, age, social origin or social position, and to create a space -afer space- that is as discrimination-sensitive and mindful as possible. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, abuse or transgressions.

In order to achieve this, we need the support of everyone present. Consensus and respect are the foundation of our events and enable everyone to let go

For each of our events there is an awareness team consisting of at least 2 people. They are there for you if you feel uncomfortable or need support and will intervene if someone is behaving in an abusive or aggressive manner.

We are not impartial. We believe the person whose boundaries have been violated. If you feel uncomfortable because of another person or have experienced or observed abusive, coercive or aggressive behavior, do not hesitate to contact our awareness team and report the incident.
If you cannot find a member of the awareness team in that moment, please feel free to contact any other member of staff – they are also appropriately trained.

Outside of the events, the awareness team leaders can be contacted at awareness@elipamanoke.de. The mailbox is kept confidential.

FAQ's

How's your toilet situation?

There is a room with toilet cubicles and a urinal on each floor. Our toilet rooms are not separated by gender, but the first cubicle is reserved for FLINTA* people so that those who cannot or do not want to use the urinal can also relieve themselves quickly. Please respect.
*FLINTA=female, lesbian, inter-, non-binary, trans and agender people

What are one-person toilets?

In principle, you are allowed to go into the cabin with several people, but experience shows that the stay will then last significantly longer. Everyone who simply has to pee should have the opportunity to do so quickly. Therefore, both the FLINTA toilet and another cabin must only be used alone.

Can I take photos and videos?

No. The cameras on your cell phones will be taped at the entrance, please leave the stickers on during your stay. Only in an unobserved space can we truly feel free from conventions and let ourselves go completely.

It's hot, can I take off my shirt?

We have a no-nipple policy so that a) no one feels disturbed and b) to ensure a little more fairness between the genders.

What is not allowed into the club?

There will be bag checks at the entrance. The following are not allowed in:

Sonst noch was?

Begegne allen mit Respekt, achte auf Grenzen und Konsens. Nur Ja heißt Ja.
Wir dulden keinerlei Übergriffigkeit, Sexismus, Rassismus, Homo- oder Transphobie.
